Flutiheal® Nasal Spray
What is this medicine?
Flutiheal® Nasal Spray is a combination medicine used in the treatment of allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and congestion or stuffiness. Flutiheal Nasal Spray provides relief from symptoms such as blocked or runny nose, sneezing, and itchy or watery eyes. This will make it easier for you to go about your daily activities. It rarely has any serious side effects and you may only need to take it on days you have symptoms. Moreover, Flutiheal AZ Nasal Spray may make you feel less sleepy as compared to other antihistamine medicines. If you are taking it to prevent getting symptoms you should use it regularly to get the most benefit.
What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?
Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before you start taking this medicine it is important to inform your doctor if you are suffering from liver or kidney disease. You should also tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
How should I use this medicine?
Flutiheal Nasal Spray should be used as you have been advised by your doctor. Do not use it more often or for longer than recommended. Normally you should blow your nose gently before using it, keep one nostril closed while applying the medicine into the other, and then sniff hard to make sure it reaches deep into the nose. Then repeat for the other nostril. It provides relief very quickly and can last for several hours. If you use this medicine too often or for too long, it may worsen your symptoms rather than improve them. Shake the bottle before using the medicine. Clean your nose thoroughly before using the medicine. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. As you spray, breath gently and keep the head upright. Repeat the same process for the other nostrils.

- Flutiheal Nasal Spray may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
- Flutiheal Nasal Spray is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
What should I watch for while using this medicine?
Avoid deep breathing as it will cause medication to go back to the throat and make it less effective. Do not share the bottle with anyone else so that you do not spread germs.
What side effects may I notice from this medicine?
The most common side effects are taste change, nosebleeds, diarrhea, fever, and headaches. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects.

Where should I keep my medicine?
Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight. Keep this medicine in the packet or the container it came in, tightly closed. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
